Marden 10k Race Report by Nick Pierce

This was the Club's first internal Grand Prix race, and I am happy to say that it ticked all the boxes ; easy travelling distance , well organised, by Russett Runners, and on quiet country lanes. It was low key and slightly old -fashioned (in a nice way).

We had by far the largest club representation and thirty four Harriers heading on masse towards the start was a sight to behold.

There were some outstanding performances by Harriers. In a field of 595, Amelie Karlsson was 1st FS with a gun time of 37: 45 and 14th overall.

1st Harrier was David Weston , 37 :25 and12th.

Jillian Holford was 1st FV55 - 45:25 and Rose Sawyer was 3rd -49:29.

Lucille Joannes was 2nd FV65.

Geoff Turner was 2nd MV60.

Peter Bell, Alex Holmes, Keith Mitchell and James Sarre all came in in under 40 minutes.

Stonking performances all round! Well done TW Harriers.
